The Sentry NET-SWITCH-8POE/4POE are unmanaged Power Over Ethernet (PoE) switches offering up to 25.5W/ch. The rugged metal case has several vents and an internal cooling fan ensuring long life and performance even in the harshest of environments such as found in the typical server rooms. The included rack mount brackets (8PoE model only) make installation adjacent or near to a rack mounted NVR very simple as does its plug & play, no configuration required. Power Over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that integrates power into standard network infrastructure. It eliminates the need for power outlets at the camera locations by allowing power to be provided by the network switch.
