We realize that the thought of purchasing relatively expensive hi-tech equipment over the Internet can cause many people to have concerns. Concerns such as, "Will it do all they claim it will?" "Will they actually ship it?" "What happens if I have problems?"

We can tell you that your concerns are groundless but, of course, everyone will tell you that. The only way we know to really answer those concerns is to provide you with case studies and independent references from some of our actual customers - references not just signed "L.P. in St. Louis" or some such untraceable name but ones that you can actually verify. We do ask that you only contact any of them if you are really serious - they are acting out of good will and we don't want to spoil our relationship with them by too many contacts.

I came to the conclusion that a digital video security system was the ideal system (vs. the traditional B&W system using VCR tapes for backup) and that Sentry offered the right mix of features, quality, price and support.

I was very pleased with the options that Sentry laid out for us and that the system we selected met all of our requirements. With Sentry’s support, we were able to install the system ourselves including running all the cabling. I was especially gratified to find that when I turned the Sentry H30/04 digital video recorder on for the first time, everything was as easy-to-use as I was told and it worked flawlessly. I subsequently had a minor issue in that I couldn’t retrieve some video files for viewing that were supposed to have been backed up on the hard drive. A phone call to your tech department resulted in the immediate decision that unknown to me; we had had a momentary power failure which had caused some parameters in the Sentry hardware to show that the recordings were not present. Upon the recommendation of the tech department, we rebooted the system and the problem was solved.

"We purchased our first video capture board from Sentry Security Systems in early 2001. This board was to be installed in one of our computers to replace an older VCR based system, retaining the original black and white CCTV cameras. After trying one of Sentry's color mini-dome cameras we found the picture quality difference to be so much better that we have replaced all our B/W cameras with Mintron™ 84K0N mini-domes.

Since that first experience with Sentry's products and services we have equipped all our Asian Food Center stores with Sentry's V800 series DVR's (we now purchase complete systems) and Mintron™ color CCTV cameras."
