Building on the success of the Sentry SMD-04HC Mobile DVR (over 800 units in service around the world), Sentry has recently launched a new, smaller version - the Sentry SMD-N4. This edition was designed to meet demanding security applications such as public transportation, law enforcement and military. The SMD-N4 is contained in a small, rugged, vibration and shock resistant case, produces MPEG4 high-resolution video at 120 fps (real-time), allows recorded video to be quickly exported through its USB port and offers a choice of recording options.The Sentry SMD-N4 Mobile DVR supports up to 4 channels of video, 2 channels of audio and gives users the option of selecting recording resolutions from CIF(352x240) to D1 (704x480). The removable hard drive (rugged 2.5") stores recorded video and can be removed for video backup purposes. Networking and remote access can be accomplished through its standard LAN Port.
