All Sentry DVRs provide an excellent software environment with choices of video compression and 640x480, 640x240 or 320x240 video resolutions at recording speeds from a total 30 frames per second (fps) to 480fps. As with all our video capture products, recording can be set to take place only when motion is present in a camera field of view, so endless hours of empty room recording is avoided. Easy dial-up or high speed Internet communication from other systems allows remote observation and recording, wherever you are. Access across a LAN is also supported.

The security cameras used in these color packages are Sentry S-831D color mini-dome security cameras. If CCTV security cameras are to be used outside or inside facing a window or other source of changing light, cameras with auto-iris lenses should be used and can be substituted into these packages for an appropriate price adjustment.
